On Thursday, December 14, 2023, the 1st educational seminar titled ‘Seminal Times Within The Yachting Hospitality Industry’ took place at the Marine Club of Piraeus, organized with great success by HYCA in collaboration with Neptunea Crew.
During the seminar, employees in the hospitality sector of a yacht had the opportunity to gain an initial insight into how their experiences could be leveraged in relation to foreign competition, exploring the market’s new requirements.
The seminar commenced with a welcome address by the Vice President and representative of HYCA, Cpt Athanasios Vourvopoulos, followed by Ms. Zerou Alexandra, CEO of Neptunea and founder of Neptunea Crew.
Brief greetings were extended by Mr. Elias Hatziefraimidis, President of WIMA, Mr. Efthymios Stasinos, Team Leader of RINA, and Mr. Antonis Stelliatos, President of E.P.E.S.T.
The Ministry of Tourism supported the seminar with the presence of the General Secretary of Tourism Policy and Development, Mr. Myronas Flouris, who was honored at the end of the event with a commemorative plaque for his presence and support, presented by representatives of HYCA, Mr. Athanasios Vourvopoulos and Mr. Georgios Parisis, as well as the CEO of Neptunea, Ms. Zerou Alexandra.

The exchange of views and expertise took the first step, promising a positive development with many educational meetings and even more interesting events in the future. A collaboration of expertise that heralds a better future for education and specialization in the yachting industry.
