Heesen Yachts christened their largest super yacht in their fleet up to now, Galactica Super Nova, known as Project Kometa.
Galactica Super Nova is not only the largest superyacht of Heesen yachts, but she is proudly listed in the top 200 largest yachts in the world.
Being one of the fastest yachts, she reaches 30 knots, thanks to the addition of a third engine to power a booster jet.
Espen Øino, her exterior designer, has created a unique timeless style, that make her stand out of the crowd. The interior designed by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design, worked together with the owner, in order to accomplish their dreams and expectations for the perfect super yacht.
Galactica Super Nova accommodates twelve guests in six staterooms with the master suite on the main deck forward, four guests cabins on the lower deck and an impressive VIP at the wheel house deck aft.
The tender and her toys, including a quad ski, are housed in the garage, located in the forward part of the hull, which enabled the team to establish a generously large beach club, offering the owners and their guests the possibility to enjoy a lifestyle closer to the water. Her large, 13.500 litres, swimming pool on the main deck aft, with contra flow system for swimming, a waterfall and integrated Jacuzzi for relaxing, while the glass bottom of the pool allows natural light to filter into the beach club below, is one of the reasons why she is the ulta relaxing super yacht of her kind.
As well as, at the main deck there is a touch-and-go helipad, which is transformed into an outdoor cinema completing the experience of luxurious lifestyle on board.
She will be extensively tested in the North Sea before being delivered to her owners in May. Upon completion of her maiden voyage from Netherlands to Montegnegro, she will enjoy her first summer season cruising the Mediterannean before being officially presented to the industry at the 2016 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show.
